Show off your rare Glocks!

sorry but no, I had 6 of them at one point but sold 4 to my club and kept these two for myself.
The 19, is as far as I know, the only prohib one of it's kind in civy hands, I'd had a Gen 1 that got KB'd by a buddy, Police Ordnance rebuilt it to this one with new frame, new slide and new barrel, as well as all new guts.

There were never any gen 1 production G19's. They started at Gen 2. I have a couple of them. My oldest has had the slide replaced as it cracked very early on.

While i have my doubts that Slavex's Glock 19 was a true Gen1, they were made. Doing some light research way back when, i dont believe there were any ever imported into Canada. There was only a hand full ever imported into the US and most of them were for a police dept. This would truly be one of the rarest Glocks known. A number of years ago there was one for sale in the US and i believe it fetched close to 10g's . Glock i believe still has 2 or 3 in their museum.

These were probably G17's cut down to the G19 frame size, not true 19's. There were three factory 19's chambered in 9x21. One of those would be a real find.

WHen I sent the gun back to Police Ord they told me it was a Gen 1, so it was even more rare than the one I have now? Damn. I don't even know what Gen the one I have now is, 3? I have no clue. Maybe Police Ord got it wrong or maybe I'm misremembering what they told me, that is always possible.

Yes, while true they are 17's frame cut to 19, and never really a "production" gun, they were still done at Glock factory. Numbers were matching frame/barrel/slide, 19 roll marked in the slide, and the tupperware container relabeled as a 19 from factory.

Slavex, do you have any pictures of your 19 before you sent to Police Ord?

Correct the one you have now is a early gen3 2pin frame, these are pre 40cal production. While rare here in Canada, im not so sure they are that rare in the US.

I've been looking for pics of the gun that went BOOM, but that was some time ago, and so far no luck.
As for the one I have now, yeah in the USA totally common, but not in Canada as a 12.6, there are lots of them with extended barrels, but as far as I know I am the only one with a Gen 3 19 that is grandfathered unless someone else has done the same thing I had to do, and I'm not sure you can even get that done now anymore.

Edited to add,

I found the original post where I talked about getting the original G19, apparently I'm a moron, it was a Gen2 19, or at least that's what I posting in 2006 when I was talking about. Holy FLICK I've had this for a long time. The other gun arrived in 2009 I think. Now I'm wondering wtf I was thinking about in regards to it being a Gen 1. I probably just misremembered it all wrong, first Glock (it was my first) became Gen 1 or something.

If you bought a G23 in the early '90s from North Shore in North Van, check your serial numbers - by some weird twist of fate, they got some of the first production G23's made. I remember being told - and shown them, by the owner. There was a lot more direct ordering, and US distributor ordering then so we did get some interesting stuff.

What ever happened to Frank? I remember someone committed suicide at his place then nothing after that....
Used to hang out there until I moved away.

My first G19 was a 1991 manufactured gun. I picked it up in 1992. My second was made in 1993. I don't remember when I bought it (it was "used"). My G23 is also a 1991 gun, also purchased used. All three are 12(6), but not what I would call rare at all. The G23 is marked .40SW, which I guess are now changed to just .40 as Glock doesn't want to acknowledge Smith & Wesson on their guns.

My current legacy Glock pistols are a G17 manufactured in 1985 ( imported directly from Austria no serial number on frame ) & G19 manufactured in Dec 1988.

Does this qualify? I have it registered to my business license but even then I believe they are pretty scarce.
