I'm not sure who built it.
i got it from sdvc who bought off the EE here, shot a couple of deer with it and now Leo owns it!
no matter how hard I try I just can't like the 270 Win and that was what that on is chambered in!

And at $1200 used, tax on top of that and no optics, they can keep it for a long long time. I've never been able to get more than $750 for a used one - that's about the going rate for a rugger No.1 at all the retail gunshops in Ontario, unless it's a tropical or safari model.

IIRC it's scoped as well, but I think the reason it's priced higher than normal is the chambering is not that common.

Wow! I'm pretty green over that .225 Win! Good thing it's not a No.1-A or I'd be tracking you down!
Here is a rare one (top) No.1-A in .223, bottom one is a No.1-A in 6.5x55mm;
