Show off your slug gun with rifled barrel!

what are you guys with savage 220's and and scope rails using for rings?
i'm going to get burris zee rings but not sure if low 1" rings will work? i'd like to keep the scope low for her and use low rings if possible. if not, i'll get a set of med 1" for the leupold freedom 3x9-40 and put a cheek riser if needed.

I've got a Weaver K 2.5x in low rings on my Savage 212 and the setup works perfect fer me.

ended up putting a egw rail with Nikon med rings wrapped around a leupold freedom 3-9×40 and added a pink trigger lock for her :). not bad with the hornady lights but still a little much for her............ LOL

I got lucky one day on the ee after checking every day for over a year. Bought it before I even had the gun to mount it on!
Highly recommend these scopes I don't think they make them anymore.

Thank you for your compliment.

To answer your questions: depending on where I hunt and how I hunt.

The Browning has the best trigger of the bunch and it feels like any other bolt gun I have and it handles exactly like one as well so this is my favorite.

However, either 12 or 20 ga H&R is stupid accurate and no reason not to own one especially the 20ga since it has no kick at all (still heavy barrel weight not much less than its big brother).

I haven't get a chance to try the M2 20ga yet but I am not too optimistic about its accuracy due to the review I found online but its a very light gun perfect to carry around the bush if you are driving deers.

The 935 is the only 3.5" slug gun that I aware of ( Hasting used to make a 3.5" 20ga based on the H&R but not sure if it's ever make it North of the border so I have yet seen one in real life) and I bet you can stop anything on this planet if you shoot the Lightfield commander IDS plus round (600gr @ 1890 FPS with almost 4800 ft lbs ME).

Not bashing Savage owned 210F before but didn't like the rough gritty action and they all hard to eject spent shell (got to yank the bolt handle real hard and fast to eject shells) and would rather spend a bit more for a Browning although Savage are very accurate as well.

I am waiting for an opportunity to try the 220 stainless and wants to see if it has any improvement over the 210 (a buddy of mine has a blued 220 and the finishing its not much better than my previous 210F blueing is still thin metal still lack of polishing and sharp edges everywhere) but the Savage are all fine guns and will put any big game down if we do our part.

I really want to try a Tarhunt out one day but its too rich for my blood perhaps may be one day.................and until then I am happy with my Browning.

I have an M2 20 ga and haven't had accuracy issues. Like most sabot guns, keeping the barrel as clean as possible is a good idea. 2 inch groups at 100 yards for me.
