Received a message asking me about some bone that could be seen in another picture I posted, so I thought I would just post it here and ask others to show off some of their favorite deer mounts. Shoulder, full body, or antlers!!

I'll begin here with one of mine, a little mulie I shot about 9 years ago.

Since i am bored and overdid it physically butchering this years well earned harvest here are a couple.
First buck I ever shot, thought many moons ago this ain't so hard LOL

Dad chased this one out of a swamp, right by me at 4 yds, a couple years before he passed

7:05 opening morning last year

After seeing one deer all week hunting in the tropical heat a little five pointer showed up Sunday morning this year to put meat in the freezer for this year.
All of the above are muzzleloader deer. Gotta love those .50's

I have a bunch of European blacktail mounts but they are in storage still and 5 more in my "bone" freezer outside I have yet to take in to get done LOL
but my pride and joy and the only one I've had shoulder mounted is this Chasm BC mulie I got during a 5 day solo hunt and took him on rememberance day 2006 with my old lee enfield .303 ;) scored 165 1/4 , mount done by Ray Wiens taxidermy, abbotsford BC.

This one's from almost a quarter century ago... can't believe how much time's slipped by. Haven't managed to better him yet.

Wow!! A lot of great photos guys. Well done and thanks for sharing. My Mule Deer mount pales in size comparison but the the eating was very good and the hunt memories, pure gold.

I was guieded by my Daughter & Son In Law and my Daughter did up the European mount for me on my 1st AB Mulie.

She did a similar mount for me on my 1st Antelope in AB last year.

Mine is the 'cute' one in the middle, a photo of the mount:redface: I don't have, yet.

wow, some real nice stuff here! Thanks for posting. And a special thanks to the fella's with the skull and antlers. Now I know what we're gonna do with Jr's buck that he got yesterday!

I haven't done any deer yet in European style, but I have done several moose, they are just too big to have a bunch of shoulder mounts lol.

I know this is supposed to be about deer, by ill post one European moose due to interest in the style.
