Here's my model 66 combat magnum, I have a model 19-4 that should be here next week too, loving the k-frame goodness. Still wanting this ones big brother in the worse way(model 69), This gun has been very good to me so far, Shot a 3 gun match, a top gun match and a few practical nights with it, tonight its going to a steel match as well, I put in the lighter wolff springs which make a world of difference, Only problem is on DA some primers are too hard and it wont fire, I read federal primers solve this problem completely so I picked up a brick, Now I just need to buy some more projectiles.

Nice....I'm a big K Frame fan as well.

Nice. How do you like the Hogue G10s?

just added a 610-3 to my little family of revolvers, damn things are addictive. Also just got in another press (Dillon 550B) so I can start reloading 40S&W and 45ACP and leave my 650 setup for 9mm.

929, 610-3, 625-8, 625-3

I never shot .45ACP in a revolver yet. But i did just buy a bunch of .44 special, Hornady factory stuff. So im interested to see how it feels out of my 629 4.2bbl. Should be cool.

Another addition to my "way older than I am" S&W collection. .455 MK II Hand Ejector........ A new friend for My Colt New Service also in .455

That's a fabulous 29-5 Classic DX gdawg. Pretty rare too. I used to have one exactly like yours with the 5" barrel. From the data collected, only about 1500 29-5 5" and nearly 2000 629-3 were made in DX trim with the 5" barrel in 1992 only. Mine had a 50y test target with 5 shot of Federal 240gr JHP all touching in 3/4 of an inch from a ransom rest.

I know the feeling. When they show up, these bring big bucks down south. One exactly like yours sold for $1625 a few months ago on GB.

Nice find Gdawg! I have a 5" 629-3 Classic DX. Was bought brand new by my father-in law back in the early 90's and he passed it down to me 10-12 years ago. Beautifully made revolvers, very accurate, and the trigger....wow, nicest trigger on any revolver I own. I say you should enjoy your new acquisition and run at least a couple cylinders of some reduced loads through her! Anyway, the obligatory crappy cell phone pic of mine:
