I thought Colt made a camo version of the Python in the mid 80's.
It was ugly as sin, must be rare nowadays

Well looks like I am back in the hunt for a Bright Stainless again. The snake I thought I got turned out to be Nickel 1980 unit : (

Advice to all: Ask seller to remove grips and tell you what letter he sees on the bottom of grip, N=Nickel, S=Stainless !!!!

PS Shooting Edge was good about it and reversed transaction.

Well I bought a Colt Python 38 Special Target Revolver with an 8 inch barrel this week. I can’t wait to get it home and then to the range. I was told by the RCMP it would be two weeks until transfer and then the CFO in Ontario said they were backlogged 6 weeks. I hate having to wait for my toys to come home, how could they be that backed up. I saw the ad at the Gun Club on Sunday and I called on Monday. The best part of the deal was it was $400 and in real nice shape.
