Colt Viper
The Viper was essentially a 4" barrel version of the alloy-framed Colt Cobra in .38 Special. Introduced in 1977. Alloy frame, 4 in. barrel, shrouded ejector rod housing. Mfg. 1977-1984.

Yes if you don't have 12/6 you won't be able to keep the 4" and 2" barrel unfortunately.

But a Dan Wesson is not a Snake !:rey2

.

Hi Chris
That DB looks fantastic. What year?

FYI: Diamondback's with bright nickel finish in .22LR with 2 1/2 inch or 6 inch barrels were limited production and are rare. Only 2,200 6 inch nickel .22's were made.

New addition to the family a 1981 8" Nickel Snake. The 8" Nickel Python had a fairly short production life between 1980 -1983. The 8" Python was first cataloged in 1980. The ship date on most of the 1980 8" would be in 1981 even though they were manufactured in 1980.

Here with the older sibling a 1975 6".:dancingbanana:

Looking for ELITE, BOA, GRIZZLY/KODIAK or other Snake 5" or longer, EMT ready or can work a trade for my other Colt or SW high quality gun.
