As a newb into the reloading hobby, I found a ton of useful info in this thread. Specifically, those who used the
4' Canadian Tire
workbenches when on for half price and the one member who had the great idea to mod the drawers and leave an opening on
one side for better press use......smart cookie!
Like some other, bought 2 of those benches, but modded mine a bit more by adding a "custom" 3/4" plywood top top cover the
entire 8' width, then an 8' one-piece slab of masonite and then some stair edging to add a bit of a bull-nose type edge to hide my
handiwork.
The benches are solid and have created a really great work-space....thanks again to people posting great ideas in this thread!
I then really took my time trying to lay things out well, to make for an efficient workflow, so far very happy with it in practice.
Costco.ca for a great
work-bench stool ($69 shipped). Added 4' LED worklight above, also from Costco, bought 2 originally, as
more than a few people said you cannot have too much light, but 1 of these has more than enough, coupled with a couple
smaller table and clamp-on lights I have there as well.
*Note - The Trump ballcap in the top right corner was bought for a joke, before he became prez, thought it was a good home.
