With the 12.5” barrel they tend to shoot high, so the adjustable rear xs sight peep should be a good combo.
I have many shotties but this is my favorite so far.
Factory Remington 870 Police magnum 14 inch barrel, this was sold to an agency in Quebec but somehow they upgraded to patrol carbine so I bought it off their hand.
Nice, did the agency order it as such or did you do some work like the sights after you picked it up?

With the side-saddle, tube extension and single-point sling loop, I'd guess Gravel agency did the setup for the customer.
Yes, I added the Wilson combat sights after, it only had bead when I got from the agency.
Here is my shiny new KSG SBS (Short Barrelled Shotgun), NR with a 13" Bullpup Barrel and twin magazine tubes holding 4 rounds of 2 3/4" or 7 rounds of mini slugs/buckshot each. Fully loaded with one in the chamber you get 9 rounds of 2 3/4" or 15 rounds of mini-shells. I have fitted the shotgun with an EoTech EXP 3 and a Green Laser. Other accessories include the KSG Shell Deflector, Ehanced ButtPad, and 6-round SideSaddle. The SBS comes equipped with a White Light in the integral Vertical Foregrip with momentary switches. Overall length is 21", making the SBS the shortest factory-standard shotgun on the market.
