Showoff your SHORTY 12G SHOTTY (14" or under and Mods)!

It is NR, due to it being a manual pump operation and some other arcane regulations. You can obtain one from IRG at an approximate, currency conversion-dependent cost of $1700 CAD. They retail for $1,200 USD, so with the conversion and brokerage, etc, the price is pretty fair. No kidneys required!

Benelli SuperNova 14.5”
It’s boring factory because it is for bear defence when I go on longer hikes. The bears are huge here.

But one IMPORTANT addition: a cheap Allen recoil pad that I bought at Canadian Tire that SIGNIFICANTLY reduces felt recoil when firing slugs. The Allen recoil pad works wonders. I am ordering a sling for it tomorrow… its custom because although you attach a swivel to the top of the magazine, the butt has only a slot to buckle and attach the sling.

Shots were at 10 and 25 yards with standard 2 3/4” 1 1/8 ounce challenger slugs.IMG_2304.jpg

Also, I just ordered this custom sling from Blue Force GearIMG_2313.jpg

Here is my shiny new KSG SBS (Short Barrelled Shotgun), NR with a 13" Bullpup Barrel and twin magazine tubes holding 4 rounds of 2 3/4" or 7 rounds of mini slugs/buckshot each. Fully loaded with one in the chamber you get 9 rounds of 2 3/4" or 15 rounds of mini-shells. I have fitted the shotgun with an EoTech EXP 3 and a Green Laser. Other accessories include the KSG Shell Deflector, Ehanced ButtPad, and 6-round SideSaddle. The SBS comes equipped with a White Light in the integral Vertical Foregrip with momentary switches. Overall length is 21", making the SBS the shortest factory-standard shotgun on the market.

You would definitely need the laser for it, as it is too short to shoulder mount and aim.

I beleive all the KSG's have a similar length of pull. The laser would be good for shooting from the hip though as most reports I've read about the KSG's say that they kick like a mule.

Hey Bartok, where did you get the aftermarket recoil pad and does it work a lot better then the stock setup for helping with recoil?

Just put a holosun eps on a Aridus crom base , with rear ghost ring sight aperture, my eyes are getting old and a red dot is a welcomed addition , especially in low light lol
Anything with a trijicon rmr footprint will work on it, there are a number of holosun dots that have a rmr footprint, the eps has a 407t footprint, but it comes with a adapter plate , so, it works.
Even with the plate it sits low.

I haven't had it out yet to dial it in.

That's awesome, I've long wanted to slap an RDS on my shorty.

Thanks, this is the multiple reticle version, and I'm thinking of just using the 32 moa circle .

Are most red dots shotgun rated?
Unsure, but, I would think that any that can stand up to the whiplash of a pistol slide slamming back and forth should be able to take 12ga recoil, just my thoughts

My 1993 Police magnum 14" in all it's blued beauty.
