I seem to recall in another thread that one owner mentioned that that was indeed what it says on his manual. Maybe Sig's too lazy to print new manuals? *shrug*

We are a small arket. However, SAN has this year indicated that they hope to have their Canada specific manuals completed in the near future.

wondering why the casings eject the way they do hitting the edge of the reciever, scuffing it up/chipping the paint as well as severly denting the casing....?

Because people who design military rifles could not care less about the denting of the case, or marking the receiver. Their only concern is reliability, and firm ejection is part of it. The easy solution is a piece of velcro.
