not exactly, according to the guy who took the pictures it uses M14-mags, since it's built for the US market.

They sure look like M-14 mags to me..

Yah they look nothing like 540 magazines:

Kampf's response was dealling with the H&K gun.

Da für den US-Markt entwickelt, werden M14-Magazine genutzt - hier gefällt mir die Lösung mit G3-Magazinen im HK 417 besser, auch wenn man dadurch aus den Verschlussfang verzichten muss...

Your avoiding the fact he is obviously talking about the new H&K 417 which is the new 308 H&K rifle designed for US markets.

SIG has no reason to use a mag that isnt designed for there rifle.

You may be right about the 542 mags (hopefully we find out when the rifles are imported) but Kampf's response was to CanAm's question about the Sig rifle.

correct.

Just asked the guy (Carlos) again, he's quite sure it uses M14 mags, which would make sense in my opinion.

I guess the only way we can be sure is when the gun comes out. I am guessing Swiss Arms no longer has the toolling for the old magazine.

I wonder if any new info has come in about SIG bringing out their rifle in any different calibres? I always find myself dreaming about a Swiss Arms PE90 in .308.
