Sig P226 German

Awesome. Chris just called. Got my quote. They will swap my mags for 10 round mags for me :D. She had the smith check it over to make sure it's the model i ordered and she said it looks really nice.

haha yeah. sorry. although i thought sharing that info with everyone would be better than fielding lots of different questions via pm over and over.

esp with regards to the ispc rules etc.

well i guess iv got signess. iv gone an asked robert burke (who is also a sig dealer) to find me an original run p226 ST from the 2001-2005 run. and do his action clean up package etc. it wont have fiber sites like the other sig, but will compare their work to each other when they finally arrive. :)

You picked up the new production 226 German?
What is the different between those and the US made models? Do they lack any MIM parts?
Is the slide the old carbon folded steel and not the new stainless?

Does anybody in Canada sell 'em?

Stamped Carbon Steel Slide
Matching Triple Serial Numbers
German Proof Marks
Completely Assembled in Germany
15-Round German Dove Tail Magazines - swapped for 10 rd mecgar
Internal Extractor
No MIM Parts

no idea if a canadian distributor carries them i didnt even bother looking in canada

I Imported some Sig Pistols this year, through Profit River, cant say enough about their service,Melissa is super helpful, always answers emails, and I am sure she gets a pile of them everyday
Just purchased a Scope yesterday on Amazon they are going to Import for me and the new $50.00 per line item for Parts Importing is going to be very helpfull

My Pistols took about 12 weeks from the time they got to their FFL,hopefully yours are much quicker
I just tried to forget all about them and the time went by fairly quick, one day I got a call from Melissa and a few days later they were at my door,it was like Christmas

These posts about you guys getting work done on them in the US before Importing, has got me thinking

Enjoy the anticipation, look forward to getting some range reports and Pics
