SIG P320 Flux Rifle

Will be nice if it can come with a 4.6" threaded barrel Xcarry Legion compact slide in stead of 3.9" barrel AXG legion slide.

Do you think its worth it?

not sure if you are asking me but i will chime in anyway lol

i havent shot the Flux specifically but i have shot similar things like the B&T USW and micro roni and i have to say they made a huge difference in the shooting experience for me in terms of stability, accuracy, felt recoil etc. so yes, i would get one. the Flux has the cool mag release feature as well (as shown in the vid i posted).

The Flux Raider Chassis is a very competently and ergonomically-designed enhancement that makes for a very handy and packable Personal Defence Weapon. That said, there are a few downsides or limitations inherent to the design.

First and foremost is the fact that the Raider is SIG P320-based, which comes with the potential for unexplained and unintentional discharge, although I have never had an issue with any of my 3x P320/M17 pistols. The fact that the Raider adds an ambidextrous manual Safety lever to the P320s operation helps to mitigate the discharge issue by applying positive mechanical prevention of trigger manipulation.

Second is the issue of range. With a 4.5" barrel, the Raider is realistically a 100m gun. And that is a stretch for a handgun enhanced by a 3rd point of contact. My comfortable engagement range is 75m with the Raider, whereas my SMG-based 9mm PCCs with 8" to 10" barrels such as the SIG MPX or B+T APC9 more easily reach out to 100(+)m.

Pros and cons, just like anything else.... Given the option, I'd take a dedicated 9mm PCC with an 8" to 10" Barrel any day over the Raider. Even more capable and thus better however, is (in my opinion) an 11.5" short-barrelled 5.56mm AR15 carbine. A compact AR isn't much bigger than an MP5, and any size difference is more than offset by the capability increase in terms of effective range, stopping power and overpenetration prevention.

Just my $.02....

I WANT THAT MP5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I WANT THAT MP5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You, and most of CGN! Unfortunately, the government has seen fit to discriminate amongst firearms owners based on age. If you were old enough and wise enough to get grandfathered for 12(X) firearms when the opportunity existed, then you have a privilege that newer shooters cannot obtain by legal means. Grandfathering is inherently discriminatory, and your inability to lawfully own that MP5 is all the proof that you need.

sure but what about a Sig 320 with the Flux vs. a Sig 320 without the Flux?? To Flux or Not Flux, that is the question.
I bet the cops at Bondi with sidearms vs longarms might now want a snap on brace of some sort and maybe a red dot mounting option for improved dynamic extended range shooting with their duty pistols.

If (as is currently the situation) you cannot have anything else in the PCC category, then by all means FLUX! There is absolutely no question that if you have a P320, you ought to put your FCU and Slide Assembly onto a Raider chassis. That 3rd point of contact with the shoulder is the steadiness game-changer which instantly extends the effective range of your P320 components to 100m.

The manual Safety is also a very welcome addition to the P320 platform, as it places positive control over manipulation of the Trigger Assembly, thus (presumably) preventing the mysterious unintended discharges which have occasionally plagued the pistol. There have been no recorded incidents of unintended discharge with the Flux Raider that were attributable to the firearm.

Further to the above, do not overlook the "fun factor". The Flux Raider is a very enjoyable firearm with outstanding ergonomics and some cool features such as the self-deploying Buttstock and the Quick Reload System. The increased practical accuracy that comes with that 3rd Point of Contact makes the Raider a ton of fun for casual "plinking" at various types and sizes of target out to 100m. The Raider is far more enjoyable than the P320 in handgun form, regardless of the Grip Module used. It really is the ultimate Grip Module for the P320 FCU and Slide Assembly.

Sure, here you go.

Note that the Flux has a longer Length of Pull (LOP), which is what makes it longer overall. The Raider's "full size" LOP is one factor that greatly adds to the user's overall comfort. I find that I have to "scrunch up" on the shorter B+T chassis, which is probably better-suited to persons of smaller stature. I was 6' 2" before I lost my legs and have long arms, so I find the B+T platform a bit short for me. That said, it is entirely usable and is a vastly better fit than say, the classic VZ61 Skorpion machine-pistol Buttstock!
