I am new to the 1911 format, having just recently purchased a Sig Sauer 1911 Max Michel in .45 ACP. I cleaned and lubricated the gun, and went to the range a couple weeks ago and shot 100 rounds of Hornady Steel match 230 grain bullets with no issues whatsoever. I cleaned and lubricated the gun, and then went back to the range today with S&B and Blazer Brass 230 grain bullets. I loaded 8 rounds of the S&B into the Wilson Combat mag, and fired 5 shots, and then was unable to pull the trigger on the 6th round. I ejected the magazine and removed the bullet from the chamber. I checked the gun out, and all seemed to be fine. I dry fired with and without an empty mag, and no problems. I loaded the mag, and tried to fire again, and could not pull the trigger. I removed the mag and chambered bullet, and tried a Sig Sauer mag with the Blazer bullets, and again could not pull the trigger. The gun is clean and dry fires with no problem, any ideas what may be causing this issue?
