I find the SRT nothing but a positive improvement. IMO, the reset was SIG's worst feature from a (using it in) competition stand point. A re-worked X-Five All Around with the SRT would be a deadly IPSC production gun.
To complain that the the trigger tension is the same... even after the reset is totally ridiculous. Take any DA or DAO pistol (Glock, HK, CZ, original Sig) and tell me if the tension changes after the reset. It's the trigger return spring that controls the tension and the tension will be the same for the full range of trigger return.
