Hello folks...bit of a noob question...
I have Vortex Strikefires on both my AR and SU-16. Took them in to sight them yesterday. I did the usual...start out at 25 meters, adjust them to group at point of aim, then repeat the process at 50 meters and then 100 meters (Poco targets are in meters).
I had no problems with zeroing them at 25 and 50 meters, but noticed that as soon as I went oout to 100 meters, my red dots that were zeroed at 50 meters were shooting really high at 100. I'm not talking about 2-3"...but more like 10 inches!
I adjusted them so that they were zeroed at 100, but when I went back to shoot at the 50 meter targets, it was now shooting 10" too low.
Is this normal? Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for any tips.
Cheers.
