Simcoe muskoka precision shooting

Scuba, unfortunately I will not be able to make it as I am taking my kids to their wrestling tournament. I look forward to the next one. Good luck to all those competing.

What a day, snow howling winds and cold. I wasnt even sure if anyone would show up, but they did. Had a great day with the mikes and dave with some great results, even at 250 yards in a 50 km wind. The swag from tenda was well recieved, the winner walking away with a nice gift card from epps, targets from gong joe dont even have a scratch and that mpod from mystic precision will be a fantastic prize once we build up a base. We all learned a pile about wind drift lol, and everyone had a great time. Next event is may, possibly 2 in june

today was a great day, and highly recommend others taking part in it. it was a comfortable setting with myself and the other mike being newer shooters at long range. learned a lot and had some laughs. weather turned out pretty decent in the afternoon. looking forward to the next event!

thanks to Tenda, Ellwood Epps and gong joe for sponsoring this event.

Yep! Was a great day, little bit of a hairy drive getting there but it turned out nice. Steve did a great job organizing and the Gong Joe targets were great. Thanks Epps,Tenda and Gong Joe for the swag. Can’t wait to get a peak of the M pod supplied by Mystic Precision.
It was a great day and great to meet you guys. I will be there for the next shoot!
Always something to learn, especially in the wind.
Cheers.
Dave.

Count me in on the next one. Been wanting to get into something like this for a while. Wish I found out about yesterday’s event in time.

With the high winds we all agreed 250 would be max, van do 300 yards next time, was a good day. We did get invited back so i might try for the 11th, was thinking 18th but that is the long weekend

Btw my mtr did very well for the little effort i put into it, swish had a nice tikka t1x to take the win but we were within a couple of mistakes all day, i think my ammo choice was questionable

I'm pretty happy with mine.

Using up the rest of the Eley Edge and have this set up at 180 yards.

No problems hitting the spinning target on the right but the top left is the challenging target and definitely fun.
