The main ammo dealers get their SK and Lapua through the Canadian distributor, Hirsch Precision. When the shipment arrives in Canada, it's in one large amount, which in turn is sent to the dealers. When one dealer gets his shipment, the others will. Some may order more than others. Contact the main dealers -- Hirsch, Nordic Marksman, Tesro, and Target Shooting Products.
The alternative may be to get other similarly priced SK ammo such as SK Rifle Match -- if it's available. The growing interest in PRS shooting and the concurrent "discovery" by many shooters that standard velocity entry level match ammo is better than bulk and affordable HV ammo has all but ensured that the demand for SK ammos has increased dramatically in the last three or four years.
Typically, but not necessarily always, lesser grades of SK will be less consistent than than the better ones.
Of course, the performance is never dependent on the name on the box. It depends on ammo qualities that vary from one batch of ammo to another.
