SKS # 4 On The Way...

Lets put it this way. These two that Jacques found are the first "K" series non-refurbs in Arctic Birch,that I've ever heard of let alone seen.

I guess they used left over hardwood stock they got in hands before using laminate. With russian SKS's anything can happen defying any logic.... Btw, that "K" from Jacques give me unsleep nights now,already busted my budget arghhhh!

I actually looked through all the pictures right after Jacques put them up and I picked this one because of the ###y stock. I had to read up on what a "K" series actually meant. ###y and rare and she's gonna stay slathered in cosmoline...not gonna shoot her but I am tempted to try out my '49 that arrived today (working on an unboxing video right now which I'll post up in West Rifle's forum soon).

I know what you mean, that's why I'm trying to sell a couple on the EE now. Are you still interested in my Kovrov if your old '49 sells, Joce? Here's a pic of my '49 but watch the West Rifle forum for a video of me unboxing her soon ;)

Now i wait the answer from Jacques about the "K" 1955/56, cant sleep because of that.... my 49 is not sold yet. I wait Jacques answer and i may put 1 of my unissued polish M44 on the EE tonight, will put in the 49 ad. You Kovrov still bite me but man, i dont know what to do, too much pieces i need. So you bought the other 49 from Westrifle? I wait mine next week:D November will be a costly month for me:p

Yeah, couldn't resist getting one of the very first and Al from Westrifle said they came from the warehouses of the department of defense in Russia. I'm still debating if I should leave her in cosmoline and just stick to shooting my '53's and '54's...

Great vid:) I finally decided to not buy another sks for now, make me sad but money will be tight until xmas so i must be carefull..... I wont fire the 49 i will have from Westrifle, i will clean and inspect then re grease for long term storage in the cabinet:) If my other 49 doesnt sell, will be a shooter:)

We have a ton with all matching numbers on our site. Dealers out there we are wholesaler as well if you want some of those let us now. We are getting another container on Dec 10th.

That looks great! I ordered an unissued one and it is very nice too. I bought it for my wife. She gets to participate in the cosmoline removal. My SKS looks like a POS compared to yours and hers.

Thanks KeltecFan! Yeah I am really happy with it always wanted a laminated Stock....there is no Year marking on top of the receiver cover so I am not sure when it was made.
