SKS and the Bullpup Conversion Stock Issue.

That's infuriating.

I just flipped my table.

LOL, while I haven't flipped any furniture, I feel your frustration! Ridiculous!
I'm looking at this from a desire to have something that is not as expensive as a tavor, but handles like one. Plus my business minded self thought it might be a good little financial venture. The SKS is a great place to start considering its cost etc. One could buy a few of them and start modding and tinkering until a new gun came out of the experiment, and then maybe it could be sold at a bit of a markup, but not quite at the price of a Tavor.

Thanks fenceline, that's the best explination of our crazy bullpup legislation to date.
I now understand why it is okay for me to import and own a DTA SRS A-1 but not a Defensive Edge LRKM as the LRKM is simply a single shot bolt action with a bullpup stock where as the DTA SRS A-1 is designed and built from the ground up as a bullpup.
