No. No they didn't. When the furor hit the fan in Ontario, they were still on the shelves at CT in Leduc. Through the whole fiasco, they were on the shelf. I was there through the 3 weeks of the story. They were there!
But whatever! Not worth the argument.
My local CTs have them back... but no bayonets and I only see Laminate stocks?
The rcmp letter, or what ever you call it, didn't mention the type of firing pin or offer any explanation of how the gun can malfunction in the manner of concern. They were either playing dumb or they really don't know anything about the rifle and do not have the competence to figure it out.
They never left the shelves in Alberta.
Both the local CT's don't have SKS's on the shelves yet. They were sent to North Sylva and have yet to return. Should be soon I would think.
