When I got my SKS (used factory 26) it had a real crappie finish and since I didn't care what it looked like I just took some poly and slapped it on. It has looked like shyt, and been fully functional and phenomenal in its reliability ever since. This weekend I decided to strip the old finish and when I got down to the wood it looked to cheap to even stain so I broke out the Krylon camo.
I think the results are awesome and I would recommend this paint job to anyone who would otherwise toss the Chicom wood. The other option was to get a T6 stock so what could I lose?

Also, anyone know who carries the T6?
If anyone wants to know how I got the pattern just PM or post and I'll give you my instructions. This was my first camo job so it's pretty much fool proof.
