still lots of stuff to fix, im more satisfied with the results this time. I want to find some kind of material for a recoil pad. Any ideas?
I need to fit the action a little better, everything will be cool on the production pieces.

Fab sports has M14 recoil pad which might work, good price too...

Its white maple, i used some hardware gunstock stain, there are so many colours to choose. First time ive ever stained something

that is definetly not any sort of maple. i think you may have grabbed a piece of oak by mistake

well my wood working friend who owns the local wood mill gave me this wood and told me it was white maple, im no expert on wood so you may be right. I just sanded the stock and recleared it, alot of the red is going away, its looking nicer.
