SKS-D or Hical Mag Adapter?

Swapping Tapco mags is easier, and they can accept strippers. The downside is the bulk of 20/5s. I just use a pouch with some 'paper-paks' in there too.

Hey Lumberjack - Did your rail come like that? Looks to have a cut out to accept stripper clips..is what I am after. Haven't seen one like that, & wasn't sure if I cut it myself, would that effect the integrity of the rail.{too much} Thnx.

Also, for OP, if you want 'removable' option, I find the 5/20rnd TAPCO mags to be + have worked the best over the years. You can cut the duck bill{part} off & use an adapter - also a DIY way to make an adapter from the cut off 'bill' part itself. or just leave the original in.

Yes it came like this- amazon magwedge was the brand $97. Doesn’t have a cutout for strip clips. You can take a closer look on amazon/reviews lots of photos
