SKS D - who used to sell these

Closest I've ever come was an sks-d or vz 58. How did your ak (whatever brand it was) compare to those, if you've ever shot those?
The AKs (I have many) felt more natural. The SKS-D felt like everything was too far forward to be comfortable. With the regular SKS my left hand would be situated closer to me on the gun. With the D, the mag would be in the way. It was even more noticeable with an aftermarket stock.

That could just be me. Other than that, it shot well.

I found mag changes to be smoother and faster on the AK.
