Post was in regards to mag because we do not have AK mags for this SKS. And since we do not have AK in Canada they are hard to check if they will work with this SKS thus the question in the first post.
In regards to price $700-750....

PS In about 10 minutes I am sure I will get something "it is too expensive or I cannot believe how much it cost". Prices are what they are currently.

Ya that is what they seem to post for on here. I won't say they are too expensive, as they sell for that. However, you can find SKS-D off line for much less. There seems to be a disparity between online value, and gun show value.
I say this having bought one for $250 at a gun show 2 or 3 years ago now, when they were selling online here for $750. Perhaps I got lucky.
