Sks-D

Actually, I'd rather just buy 3 Russian laminates for the price of one SKS-D. A magazine well isn't worth an extra $500 to me.
 
Maybe if it had one of those funky chinese thumbhole stocks and a pinned banana mag...i love the look of those stocks
 
I've been looking for an SKS-D for yrs. I'll buy one for sure. In my experience, these guys get nice product. I have 2 beauties: an SVT-40 and a hex mosin.
(And, re: customer service - CanPost snapped the 1st SVT, and these guys drove the replacement out to my house a couple of days later. And because of that hassle, when I bought the Mosin, they drove that one out to my house too.)

Post was in regards to mag because we do not have AK mags for this SKS. And since we do not have AK in Canada they are hard to check if they will work with this SKS thus the question in the first post.
In regards to price $700-750.... ;););)......
That is about all . Tell you more when I get them
PS In about 10 minutes I am sure I will get something "it is too expensive or I cannot believe how much it cost". Prices are what they are currently.

Man this thread is full of assumptions.

Westrifle had nothing to do with the Type 81. Only talked about SKS-D... but my gosh if they aren't bringing in the Type 81 now!

Seriously people. You guys are amazing.
