SKS - Decided to finally get one, but its modded

Been having fun with my vx58, so i thought about getting a SKS and doing some mods on it, this happened to be for sale so i picked it up, cleaned a bit and adjusted the scope which wasnt level. Also have a stock "new" SKS on the way.

This thing has alot of addons, chassis, grips, mag release. Taking it out to the range this weekend.

after adding up the cost of the mods it was cheaper than if i bought the accessories seperately.

I think it looks good. Probably feeels and handles 1000x better then a factory sks. ( backwards baseball bat with way to shot LOP and a grip anlge like found on a winchester lever)

I do like untouched mill surplus a lot and owned a few sks's over the years. But i woukdnt mind one that feels and handles better.

As builds go, it’s not the worst one I’ve seen. Almost looks like a WK-180C.

After handling and seeing many, many modded SKSs in use, I have still to see any mod working better than a stock rifle.

It is very nice !

Sks is not the most accurate rifle but it is so fast to strip and clean clean compared to a m14 and the round has the advantage of being dirt cheap.

This might be the only modded SKS that I've seen and liked.
The others just don't cut it. I own 2 unmolested ones and like them for what they are.

had a decent day at the range, another guy there has built one like it. Its a heavy beast compared to my other guns, might end up putting a bipod on it.

thanks crash, i have a different front grip on the way, might end up doing the bipod most likely
