SKS Improvements and Upgrades

There is one available which has an opening for the clips.

Magwedge or quickrail, not sure which one, I think magwedge, can't find it on their site now, but I have one, was fairly pricey, I think I got it for free (I don't even get it where prices are flying now), but it works with stripper clips, I can assure you. Maybe they closed shop because demand was not so high.

Please don't say "that guy has everything", yes because I was believing in the SKS for as long as I can think when most people said it is sh.t.

I have been as busy as ever, without much time to lurk around CGN.

The name of the company is Magwedge and the name of our SKS rail is the Kwikrail. We are on gen 4 at the moment and that version includes both a full length version and a stripper clip capable Tactical version.

Well, I'm not going to do that. That's also pretty reductionist, since I know there are threads here about sub-4" SKS rifles at 100m It can be done, but I don't know where to start. If you're not going to add to the discussion, I'm going to suggest that maybe you're not in the right thread.

Do a search...there should be tons of threads on mods...can you make an SKS preform...yes..but with a new barrel...a modded bolt setup, and a lot more..the only think keeping you from have a under 1 inch SKS...is money! Spend a couple grand, and you'll have what you want. Just like most of the long range shooter do...,well I guess most spend more...alot more..lol , but if you love your SKS that much, the sky is the limit.
Just to make it shot a little better..do a search, there are small mods..some work..some don't. But I would say , anything that could be done to an SKS, had already been done..it's just a matter, of doing a search..everywhere on the net..it's there somewhere.
