Jesus hes an ######, I hope his plane crashes with him on it one day.
The government can label it a military style assault rifle all it want's, but to me it is no different than a Mini 30 which will remain non-restricted.
Big difference between US and Canadian markets. There is an import ban on SKS down south driving collector prices up. Not so up here where you can still get them for under $300. Tula is most common Russian SKS and matching numbers is standard. They were mostly all force matched during refurbishment so mismatched numbers is less common. List it for $600 and the only responses you'll get will be a-holes either #####ing or laughing at you. They are definitely not going for $600 in Canada. There are some 1949 and Yugo SKS at higher prices and a few unissued non refurbs with high asking prices but a run of the mill is a tough sale even at $300.
Keep the SKS, it's not worth more than 350.00 nowaday and it's invisible. You will be glad you did.
You’re not going to get $600 even with a bunch of accessories. It’s an SKS, not a precision bolt gun. Even people who reload for the most part don’t care about reloading for it, and unless the sale is local it would be cheaper per round to buy a case of ammo online from some place with free shipping.
It’s a cheap enough gun that you should just buy the Mares Leg and have both.
You’re doing a disservice to yourself and the Canadian gun owning community by giving up and trying to dump the problem on someone else before you even know what the government’s plan is. If anything you should be buying a Mares Leg and a 2nd SKS.
It’s a $250-350 rifle depending on year and condition, you gotta sell it now. Our overlords know you have it now lol.
This year may be a year lots of us take up gardening...plants that take time to germinate, pending climate...
