SKS mag adapter

Wow guys, i really dont see the point in arguing about where the adapter is made. Every single one of you is shooting a russian, chinese or american rifle LOL

I'm not trying to scare anyone. We didn't 'steal' anyones adapter design either. If you want to patent, produce and sell your version, jump on it. You are 100% correct, it is way different from ours. And conversely, ours is way different from yours. We never intended to copy yours. We already had a design.

if you are only patent pending then you've got a whole bucket of nothing.

I've played in this world , for a long time, yes you can hold a patent, or design right for your produce,.....as everybody know... just change "one " little thing and its a new produce. It Happens EVERY DAY.
Welcome to the USA, as those in the USA would say.
Cheers

Hical....Email sent!!

I think you kind gentlemen are overlooking one major factor. ...

It would seem to me, Hical appears to be showing a US made G9 and will not show the left side of the unit for a reason. Loyal as you may, hical slaps their logo on someone elses product and starts taking orders. Wow.

This is the adapter made by Marcus.

Everyone will need to decide for themselves if it's the same adapter that HiCal is selling.

God bless Merica comes after "Our true north, strong and free" as far as I'm concerned. I have no problem buying abroad but if there's a quality Canadian made product out there you better believe I'm buying Canadian first, made in America sure doesn't have the same clout it once did either.

What he said... less that "god bless" BS !!!

Strong and free, but only if our God-blessed American bretheren protect us from any Yuri, Ching Ming or Ahmad (other countries looking for a quick and easy score) who would hand our asses over to us on a silver plate by the end of the week. Face it, boys: the state of our Canadian Armed "Forces" is a pathetic joke if it ever came to actually defending the country from a foreign invasion of any kind. The CAF are just there for show, so that we can say we do have a military presence on our territory (as required by international agreements to claim a territory). We're strong and free BECAUSE we've got out Big Brother (the good'ole US of A) watching our back 24/7. A lot of Canadians shouldn't forget that whenever they make their CBC-inspired anti-American comments in public. It just sounds f***ing dumb and is proof of profound ignorance.

...and please don't quote any of that "War of 1812" bullsh*t. That was in another time and another reality. I don't think our relatively tiny and under-equipped nation would want to try that again in the 21st century. The war would last a total of 5 seconds, because that's how long it would take for our side to raise the white flag as the American tanks roll in!

On another note, I see all of Mr. Marcus' posts got zapped. Weird... kind of detracts from the discussion! I was hoping we'd end up seeing CAD files for an adapter, lol!

Cool stuff! Any "how to" video?

I didn't make a how to video, but the instructions are simple:

1. Grind away all the material in the receiver that prevents the magazine from going in deep enough to feed the chamber.

2. Grind away the parts of the bolt that interfere with the parts of the magazine.

3. Make a little bent piece of metal that hooks into the notch in the magazine and screws to the receiver.

Should take about 40 hours with a Dremel tool and a billion grinding wheels.
