Prices are high, quality is low, cost of ammo has increased. Sales will slow. If super cheap ammo shows up again sales will increase. The biggest plus for the SKS is cheap smiles.
If the guns were cheap and high quality, people will still be smiling as they have a nice gun even if the cost to shoot is higher. If the gun price is high and quality low, people will still be smiling if ammo is cheap.
