Why does this not have a Tula stamped receiver cover? Why was it omitted?

Nah.... just figured you would know!
But.... is it Chinese?
I'd like to chime in and say no one cares about all matching for a 200 CAD$ gun.
Fair enough.
But the claim is Horilka's 1958 K series carbine is an all-matching/allorginal/non-refurb.
He then offers it up as definitive proof that the Soviets used hardwood stocks on original manufacture. If he cannot prove that it is all matching, he can't prove that it is all original and non refurbed either.
Following that, his rifle provides NO evidence that hardwood stocks were original to 1958 (or 1957 guns).
That is all. An insignificant detail to many, for certain.
But still a debate worth having.
I have some all matching non refurb 1957’s that are hardwood.
So they did use them, idk where your getting this “laminate only” consensus.
Laminate only on ORIGINAL guns is the claim I'm making.
For the record, I don't care if its laminated or hardwood. That Tula stamp is wrong duck dong.
