How do you field strip it when you have a malfunction?

You take the cleaning kit rod and press on the trigger group pin-after the trigger group is removed, the whole muzzle + bolt will come out, then take off the cover and the bolt.
Taking bolt off may require some mastership because of side mount. There are clip on QD-style side mounts, but they have more mobile parts , so I chose a regular side mount.
Other mounts either are not stable (like tri-rail) or do not allow loading the mag from above (like Wartak), having scout mounts ruins the sights.
So, I compromised and chose this side mount at expense of some inconvenience / speed in assembling/ dis- --> provides fantastic support, very stable-can zero the scope easily, allows to load the mag from above and preserves the sights.

Taking gas tube can be done before or after, whenever you want.
Field stripping with this specific stock is 1 minute longer than usual one
