SKS prices in Canada

Yeah I have two... paid $169 and $159

Someone told me they paid $80 bucks way back when....

I figure even at $200 they're a steal

Now I just need to find some $199 crates of ammo when they go on sale locally

I bought 2 for $100, 1 at $120 and just in December one for $159 at Lever Arms. They've always had a boatload of them, maybe they will run out one day but not before myself, all my neighbors and their dogs have a half dozen of them each! Gotta say, there are few guns if any that are priced this good for what you get. There isn't an SKS out there that's a collector or worth a lot but they are fun. I think its hilarious when people try to pass off a $200 gun for 500 or more trying to say its special, unrefurbished or whatever rare varient. Truth is, no matter how rare it is claimed to be, there are probably another half million just like it. I guess its worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it! Personally, I think that $200 for a perfect SKS is about the most any SKS is worth.

Maybe yours will be. Other dealers still have plenty. I would wager The other dealer mentioned in this thread imports more than you. Are yours special?

Bingo. There is no shortage of sks rifles in country.
 
I don't care what happens anywhere in the world, I would never pay more then about $120 for an SKS. Lol seriously. Get a real gun yall

same here.. cheapest one ive seen is 170 and it wasnt the greatest looking.
 
I love my sks rifles chi com and Russian I was lucky enough to get a nice Russian unissued ! Before this whole debacle. Haters gunna hate. I'm going to just not and enjoy my "investments" lol until I can't. Where is cheep 762 at these days ?
 
So what happens when dealers increase prices and people just don't buy them? Prices will go down and then probably not imported again. Then prices go back up for these rare and desirable guns haha

Interesting thread... I've been in business for a few years. I don't think I'd ever taunt my customers with an I told you so thread, say I'm out of the product and you should have bought them when they were cheap.

But hey its your business thread, you can do what you want.... but I have to tell you, I've never done business with Westrifle and this thread doesn't inspire me to.

That is my understanding of the OP posting as well . That due to political upheaval in the Ukraine and Russia , that the supply of SKSs may be tougher to get and the prices may be higher.....if you want one , buy it now.....

Re read it again, at the end he says he's out of them now... its not saying buy them now, its say I told you so
