SKS rail mount

I've got a receiver cover mount, it did require some fitting, about 30 minutes with the Dremel and now it locks up solid. Vortex Strikefire mounted on top and I can still use stripper clips.

You do NOT have to remove the rail every time you clean the gun..... Just pull the Kwik PIN and your done...1 second ! It lifts up and out of the road...".easy peazy" Remember the Mag Wedge Rail ALSO works as Shell Deflector. By the time you get one mounted , you cant use your stripper clips anyway. Good luck with your other scopemounting ventures.

I was referring to the other options like a receiver cover that do need to be removed.

One of my favorite parts of the SKS is how fast you can reload it with stripper clips, and Im sure I am not the only one who loves this feature. If thats not one of the reasons you love the SKS, then by all means slap a rail over it. For this reason my SKS will probably not get a real scope unless its a small red-dot or something. Although I really liked the looks of that new SeeAll sight, it could be a nice fit on a scout mount methinks.

From what I've heard, this is the best option for a regular scope, because you have a huge range to mount it so eye relief can be just right... Which is another problem with receiver cover mounts, you can't mount the scope far enough forward (or so I've heard, again dont have one but I have researched extensively enough to realize its not for me.)

Suther, feel free drop by the HACS gun shows in Burnaby and take a look at the rail system up close. I would be pleased to go over it with you.

I've been looking for a scope mount that will hold a zero after cleaning, this looks like it may be the one! Just a few questions, Does the installation require removal of part of the original rear sight? And, does the quick release rear pin come with the Premium Rail, or is that a separate purchase??

Thanks!

heres one mounted.
