Yes, I know technically the SKS is both a Russian rifle and a milsurp. But I'm asking why its to be discussed in the 'Red Rifles' section, rather than the 'Milsurp' section.

The SKS was introduced in 1945, though not in regular production then, and prototype SKS were actually used against German force during WWII. The first model of the SKS is even called the 'type 45'. So based on the description given in the new sticky, why isn't the SKS a 'Milsurp' WWII rifle?
From the new sticky:
-if the military rifles predecessors were first used in WWII and prior wars then they belong in milsurp , regardless of where they were produced.
milsurp : LE , mosin, SVT , mauser.
-after WWII but before vietnam war , they will go to either battle rifle or red rifles section depending on where they were produced .
battle rifles : M14 (M305), FN FAL.
red rifles: SKS, AK47, SVD , VZ52, VZ58.
