Miss My SKS D
My first was an SKS-D I sold for $500..and I would gladly buy it back now for $550 or even $600. It worked perfectly, looked great, ate anything and took AK mags.
I sold her away becasue I got impatient wanting to fund an AR. I LOVE my AR, but just being able to cruise out and shoot practically anywhere (non-restricted) was nice.

Remington bolt guns are not as desireable because it takes too long to cycle that clumsy bolt thingy resulting in lost chances at game. And most of the bolt guns have calibers that are too big and slow for deer, with the sks you can have a high capacity mag that will allow you to shoot 15 or 20 rapid fire rounds to down that deer.
