Neither have I , and I've owned a few over the years .Yeah I take it to mean that the relief cut for the bayo is modified in some way, like deeper or wider or something? Or reinforced?
Never heard of anything like that at all.
ya my last one went fast, less than 48hrs listed, at 1400 but the higher priced ones .... are they selling?Unless it's an SKS D, then they're selling for $1700.
Seen a couple sell for $1500. and $1700 in the last few weeks.ya my last one went fast, less than 48hrs listed, at 1400 but the higher priced ones .... are they selling?

Right? No mods required these rigs are solid in stock config I think the only thing i would /will do is get a replacement peep sight as I am about to turn 70 and the eyes are not great, I find aperture sights help the focus. The one i shoot is a basic 54 tula, runs perfect, the rest are unfired collection they are fun, interesting, historical, rock solid and still relatively cheap especially compared to the U.S.Yeah I take it to mean that the relief cut for the bayo is modified in some way, like deeper or wider or something? It’s beefier near the bayonet relief cut. Just an extra piece of wood they attached on.
Looks like a repair of some sort!Got it, thanks

Buyback Bimbo!......In a few weeks when the libs get around to it, it will be worth whatever the buyback bimbo’s say it’s worth, though good luck ever getting actually paid.
If you want to sell, sell now.
a couple examples can be found online. One is on Reddit and the monkey redditor says he ground off the addition and then wholesale replaced the stock after realizing he ruined it…Yea, or maybe someone actually sharpened the blade and decided to thicken the forend to avoid cuts, grabbing at straws here as they didn't do it for the looks!
