a couple examples can be found online. One is on Reddit and the monkey redditor says he ground off the addition and then wholesale replaced the stock after realizing he ruined it…

I like them original and stock as possible but as I said, to each his own, it depends on the individuals end use I guess, but once they are bubba'd in a permanent way, the value may go up or down.
