Sks vs boar ***warning pics of dead boar***

If they have been fed well, this will be the best & leanest pork you've ever had in your life IMO.
Myself I find the mediterranean recipes most often the best way to prepare these yummy beasts.

I've already had some and let me tell ya she is quite tasty!! She was cought on Saturday by Sunday she was on the BBQ.

Nice! I had some of that while I was living in Europe. Love the meat.. My mom/uncle were lucky.. They grew up in northern Africa, where they were pests but people weren't allowed to eat pork, so the Christians got'em for free/nominal amount. Gramps used to spit-roaste'em on a regular basis.

These animals are very rugged and adaptable with a high birthrate. As long as there is a boar and sow around, they will be breeding.

You never know what you are going to see out there. A friend was deer hunting north of Edmonton some yrs ago. He was sitting in his tree stand towards last light when along came an ostrich!

Thank you for the info sir. Do you know if any have been seen recently or have any idea of what kind of numbers are out that way?

I was talking to a fellow who lives up there and he said he was shooting them right out of his yard. Once a colony of hogs gets established they spread like wildfire.Just look a the problem down in the states, guys are making a living
exterminating them.

Next year we are planing a big pig roast but I'll be bringing back a much bigger pig.
Sometimes the bigger ones are very tough and much more grissley.
(Although they make for a great head mount)
You might just want to shoot two smaller ones instead.
In the American SE states, pigs in the 100 pound range are often refered to as BBQers.

I used to hunt just south of there frequently, my uncle had a ranch right outside of greenwater. I've never personally seen pigs or any sign but I might head up that way when we get our first skiff of snow and poke around, it would be really nice country for them.
