The thing that gets me on this is such. IF you use the original FAL fire control mechanism, the hybrid can be easily made FA.
The safety sear would be engaged by the bolt dropping down rather than by the carrier closing unless you use the SKS fire control group then it would be legal. Use the lower as just a shell to house the original trigger group.
