In one of the threads in this forum reference was made to an SKT-40, which I had never heard of. In trying to do a little research on this it turns out that the consensus seems to be that some 2000 of this carbine were produced.
However, in several different locations I saw references to what were called "Marstar cutdowns" which were produced in Canada and appear to have been made in the 1990's and which seemed to have a derogatory connotation.
Were these firearms which were pawned off as being SKT-40s, or were they something else altogether?
Does anyone have any information on them?
