Sling attachment for Tavor?

Just installed the messa and it's is perfect... It fits through the rear hole perfect! Thanks for suggesting it!!!

How far does the sling mount adapter stick out?

I would say it sticks out 3/4 of an inch... Doesn't seem like its going to be in the way... The only thing I had to do was install a washer cause it was a little lose when installed

I have the same sling mount from Mesa but I mounted mine on the opposite site of the tavor. On the ejection port side. I find this more comfortable when hanging as it pulls the butt into your chest and when shooting the sling isn't caught between your shoulder and the butt if the rifle.

I'll have to try that out as well... How about the front sling attachment did you keep it stock, what it came with?

I did. I figured It worked out just fine. Never had much for issues with the front.

I came across a good article in Canadian Firearms Journal that had a good option for a sling mount. Its a Mesa Tactical receiver mount for a 870, it's suppose to be a perfect fit for the rear sling mount on the Tavor.

Very, very helpful and thanks for sharing. I've ordered one too as the "string hole" is one of my few serious misgivings with the Tavor.

I bought a Tactical Link rail mount swivel base as well with a quick disconnect swivel from GP Tactical, will try mount the sling on the RH side with it and the Mesa Tac 870 adapter for the strong hole. Might have quick connect swivels front and back for my Tavor after all.
