Actually its the slob hunters that make us look bad- the rest of us pointing out that their behaviour is not acceptable is what makes us look good. The whole 'divided we fall' mindset doesn't apply when someone acts like an irresponsible douchebag then demands that I stick up for him b/c we both are hunters. These threads achieve two things: let slobs know that the rest of us are disgusted with them and let new hunters learn what the majority view as acceptable behaviour.

These threads achieve two things: let slobs know that the rest of us are disgusted with them and let new hunters learn what the majority view as acceptable behaviour.
Unfortunately, I do not believe that the majority of slob hunters are on on here, since they cannot read and understand the regulations, lack basic social proprieties, and fail to carry out basic ethics, then they probably wouldn't be here where reading is an absolute must!!
Did anyone post the same rant on a four wheel drive, ATV, camping or fishing sights? Hunters may well be responsible for some of the actions you mention, but we are often quick to blame other hunters when we are not the guilty party.
Also remember just because you have a bow or firearm and are in the field during hunting season doesn't make you a hunter.
