Small Hands

Da??

I like the M+P too with the night sights but I doubt I would like the double action only.

The M&P is not a DA pistol. You can only pull the trigger and fire the action once after you cycle the slide. It is a striker action -single action- pistol. I had a couple of CZ SA/DA's and have had DA revolvers in the past and the M&P action is in no way related.

Don't discount the M&P if you have small hands. My daughter has very small hands and she shoots the M&P9 comfortably.

anyone have experience w/ springfield/croatia xd9 for small hands.a guy @ the range let me handle it and it felt really comfortable w/ my small hands.i didn't shoot it though...

I too have smaller hands but have not problems with even double stack 1911s - it is all in the grip. Do a Y__tube search on Todd Jarrett, he teaches a grip style that works very well for me with just about every pistol I have tried. In fact with that grip - took a bit of time to get it down smoothly - I now prefer wider grip pistols.

If you are planning on doing Bullseye one handed than grip size is more of a concern but this grip has made a huge difference for me in the 'tactical' style shooting sports - PPC, IPSC, IDPA...

Thanks for the information. Since I have very small hands(I need a short trigger to be able to use the 1911 single stack) this subject is important to me.
