I use Isopropyl alcohol 99% to remove crud and degrease. It doesnt smell and evaporates very fast + it's cheap! I use Hoppes #9 only for the barrel though; dont know how alcohol would do for copper/lead fooling in a barrel...

was using hopes #9 and I loved it, but constant complaining about the smell, I switched to froglube for everything and the complaining went away, I also like the product.

Haha get this...my wife hates the smell of Frog Lube, where do you even go from there?

I'll start using Hoppes #9 and she'll be begging to go back to Frog Lube lol.
