On the Pachmayer grips I suggest you find any revolver with them and try it in your hands first. I find them to be rather too flat from side to side and very deep front to back. As a result the only contact areas for my grip is the front and back straps with no real support on the sides. So it not only feels odd but I don't find I have the proper support for consistent shooting for any sort of timed action shooting event. For slow bullseye anything works since you can adapt. But for action shooting they don't work for me at all. And while in slow paced shooting we can adapt they still don't "feel" right for me. There's no doubt that some folks love them though. So you really want to try before you buy in that case.
