To not even do a potential customer the courtesy of a reply seems pretty poor customer service to me. In my case I was asking them to point me to a dealer who had inventory available. Isn't it Trigger's job to promote these guns?

As to these being "great new product" I'm not sure how "new" they really are. GP has been around for awhile.....

As to "great" I'm not sure I'd go that far either. I have a K100 and a K22S. While I like the guns quite a lot (and think they were very good value at the prices I paid), I'm not sure I'd call them "great"
 
I think we just need to be patient.
Considering that the North American Business Rep for Grand Power is a regular contributor here it's just a matter of time before things get dialed in and they announce their big introductory sale pricing...... :)

Maybe Canuck is away. He is usually pretty good about responding to questions.

Even if Trigger just send an automated email response saying "Thank you for your interest in Grand Power. We are a wholesaler only and do not sell to the public. Please click on the link for a list of authorised dealers." Anything would be better than ignoring/blowing off inquiries from potential Grand Power customers. There are lots of choices in this type of pistol. If Trigger is going to be rude why give them your money?

I hope GP haven't made yet another mistake in choosing a Canadian distributer

S&J Hardware is carrying Grand Power firearms. I sent an email inquiring about the availability of magazines. Simon responded that the importer says they will have them early in the new year. I'm hoping they will. Otherwise I will source CZ magazines and modify them as per Ganderite and VanMan's posts.

I kept asking Joe if he has any left. I know he's got lots of stuff around his shop but he's always too busy to look. he finally got around to looking and I got the last one he had. it was actually two broken mags put together to make one good mag.

I had an ad on EE WTB Grand Power mags.....no response

good luck finding Grand Power mags. nobody has them

Easily made from CZ mags....mags are not that huge of an issue at this point.
As Nestor points out, spare parts available in canada would be a relief. This is exactly the reason I shy away from boutique or obscure pistols....lack of parts availability.
I can have a Glock/Beretta/SIG up and running within a work week regardless of what might break on it. I know I got this GP cheap, but I don't want a $325 paper weight either lol.
